After graduating with honors from New York University in 2004 with a BA in biology, Dr. Cote went on to continue his education at New York University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008, and his Certificate in Periodontics in 2011. Dr. Cote continues to pursue his passion for continuing education and for helping those in need by completing a Masters degree in public health at New York University early next year. Dr. Cote graduated from NYU having received the Samuel Charles Miller Award for the highest degree of knowledge and skill in the science of Periodontology. He also was awarded the Arthur N. Caplin Scholarship Award for outstanding academic achievements in the discipline of removable Prosthodontics. Dr. Cote recently joined our practice in 2011, with him bringing a fresh, new approach to periodontal treatment which incorporates the latest clinical techniques and research. Because of his gentle and welcoming manner, Dr. Cote makes patients’ fear and hesitation of periodontal treatment a thing of the past. He is a currently a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), AAP (American Academy of Periodontology), ADEA (American Dental Education Association), OKU (Omicron Kappa Upsilon), NYSDA (New York State Dental Association) and Global Public Health Council. Dr. Cote regularly attends continuing education courses so that he may continue to provide his patients with the most current procedures in periodontal medicine and hopes to help continue to provide our community with the affordable, quality periodontal dental care they deserve.
