FAQs

What Services can I expect on my first Visit?

Your initial examination will include:

  • Full Mouth Hygiene Cleaning – Our hygienist will review your medical history, and pre-screen you for oral cancer, any periodontal conditions and gum disease. In addition, you will receive dental prophylaxis, which is comprised of scaling and polishing to remove unsightly stains to prevent periodontal disease.
  • X-Rays – All necessary x-rays will be taken to examine you fully. We offer the latest in state-of-the-art digital x-ray equipment, including both single and panoramic machines. Digital x-rays omit only 1/10th of the radiation omitted by standard x-rays, and allow our exam doctors to better detect developing tumors, cysts, abscesses, and decay not visible to the naked eye.
  • Consultation – Our examining doctor will thoroughly examine your teeth and explain to you the latest materials and treatments available. The treatment plan and length of treatment will be discussed in detail.
  • Financing Review – Our experienced treatment coordinator will review and document any and all expected costs for the treatment plan. Fees will vary based on the type of treatment and the amount covered by your insurance company. All financing options will be discussed including our 100% financing plan. All of this brought together to provide the most comprehensive dental diagnosis and treatment plan. Diagnosis and necessary treatment may be explained to at this first visit or at a second visit, depending on the complexity of the required treatment.

How often should I come in for a “Check-Up”?

We feel that you should have dental examinations at regular intervals. Preventive care is the best treatment. If there should be any treatment necessary, early intervention is easier and usually less costly then if treatment is delayed. Children should start their visits once they have all of their teeth- usually at about 2 years of age. Adults should have their regular examinations and cleanings without any artificial limitations imposed by insurance contracts.

Do you Accept Insurance Plans?

Yes, we accept most insurance plans. Insurance is a contract between the insurance company and the patient — not the dentist. The patient is responsible for all of the charges for dental care. We do, however, accept the assignment of benefits. Please bring a completed insurance form and eligibility card with you for each visit so we may send it in promptly for reimbursement from your insurance company. The office can make no guarantee of any estimated coverage and patients need to realize they will always be responsible for their total obligation should their insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated.

What Credit Cards do you Accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, CareCredit and ATM withdrawals. We also help you obtain 100% financing through various plans. No Interest Plans are available as well.
